Spicy Soya Chunks/ Spicy Meal Maker


Ingredients:

Soya Chunks/ Meal Maker - 500 gms
Tomatoes - 2(small)
Onions - 1(Finely chopped)
Coriander Powder - 1 tablespoon
Garam Masala -1 tablespoon
Salt - According to taste
Chilli Powder - According to taste

Preparation:

Put the Soya Chunks in hot water along with salt for 10-15 mins.
Squeeze the Soya Chunks to remove the absorbed water and keep it aside.
Take a pan and pour oil into it.
Add onions into oil and fry till they turn light brown in colour.
Grind the tomatoes in a mixer and make a paste out of it. Add the paste into the pan and cover it with a lid for 10-15 mins till the puree comes close.
Add coriander powder, garam masala and chilli powder as per taste.
Add soya chunks and mix it well so that the soya gets the taste of tomato and all the spices.
Close the lid and heat on low flame for 10-15 mins till you get the required consistency.
Remove the pan from heat and serve hot.

Serving Options:

Serve with hot rotis/naans.
