DIY Honey Glycerin Face Wash
A face wash is the first and most important step when it comes to the skin care regime. No matter wh...
- A glycerin soap bar. You can even use liquid castile soap but I couldn't get my hands on it so I used the regular glycerin soap available in the market and it worked well.
- Coconut oil. You can use olive oil or almond oil as per what suits you. A clean bowl.
- A clean empty bottle to store the face wash.
Scrap out half of the glycerin soap from the soap bar. Cut it into small pieces to accelerate the melting process.
Take a bowl full of hot boiling water and add the soap bits into it. Keep stirring until everything melts and the water changes color.
Once the soap is melted, add 2 tablespoons of honey to it and mix well.
Lastly add 4-5 drops of coconut oil into it. Mix everything well.
Finally, store your honey glycerin face wash in a clean bottle.
Directions For Use:
To use it, just wet your face, take a little amount of the face wash in your palm and rub it to create some lather. Massage your face with it for a minute and wash with warm water.
The face wash does not lather like a regular face wash but the lather it creates is enough to clean the face. The honey in it will add a glow on your face. Coconut oil and glycerin will help to moisturize the skin. I hope you liked this simple recipe and will definitely try it.
