The cuteness of Street Wear products is unmatchable after they renewed the packaging and relaunched them. They look so adorable that you can't resist the temptation to buy at least something from their range. Speaking of that, I have been sent a Kajal from Street Wear in my Diva Likes haul. Each and every kajal has its own beauty and every time I see a well-known brand come up with a kajal, I immediately try it out. Some of them turn out to be praiseworthy while others fall flat on the face. So do you think this kajal will prove to be an effective one? Read on to know more about the product.

My Experience With Street Wear Color Rich Kajal:

Packaging: The kajal comes in the form of a fat and chubby wooden pencil with a tight shut cap. There's also a sharpener provided with the packaging which works pretty good. I am not much of a fan for sharpening daily wear kajal as a lot of product gets wasted, but somehow this one just works fine. Overall, it has a quirky, cute and effective packaging.

Shade: The shade is black, but the intensity is not very impressive. I have used much black kajal's till date to know that this is not going to flatter you if you are fond of the rich and deep color. But you can use the color as a base for smokey eyes beneath a regular black eyeshadow.
Pigmentation: This is the disappointing area where it requires numerous swipes on the water line for the color to show up, and still it is a failure. You can see the swatch on my water line where it hardly shows up. For the eyelids, it shows up better than waterline, however, it is simply satisfactory.

Texture: The texture is smooth and extremely creamy. This works as a disadvantage for very oily eyelids as it creases very badly and spreads. Otherwise, it glides smoothly without any tugging or pulling. It doesn't cause any sort of irritation at all. The kajal has a faint smell of camphor which is extremely good.
Formula: Sadly, the kajal is neither waterproof nor smudge proof. It is slightly water resistant, but it is very nominal. It smudges and creases badly giving you horrible raccoon eyes. I tried very hard to prevent the smudging with various techniques, but all my efforts were in vain.

Staying Power: It has a poor staying power of 1-2 hours and it smudges very badly. For the price, it is a complete dud.

Pros Of Street Wear Color Rich Kajal:
  • Nice and catchy packaging with a sharpener.
  • The smell of camphor in kajal.
  • Shows up on eyelids.
  • Smooth and creamy texture.

Cons Of Street Wear Color Rich Kajal:
  • Not an impressive black shade.
  • Poor pigmentation.
  • Smudges badly.
  • Low staying power.
  • Won't work on oily eyelids.

Diva Likes Rating:

2/5

Final Note:

The product is a complete failure and it is highly recommended to skip it altogether. There are far better options available in the market to try.
