My Experience With Lakme Eyeconic Kajal Green:
Packaging: The packaging is just like any other Eyeconic range of kajal's from Lakme. It comes in a retractable twist up, sleek black plastic body with a cap that shuts perfectly well. It is good enough for traveling and easily slips into the bag. All the pencils in this range are almost similar looking and the shade is mentioned in the lower portion on a greenish stripe. For a daily pop color kajal, the retractable option is extremely good and ensures no further wastage of product.
Shade: This is one pretty shade I have come across after a long time. The shade is a deep and dark green with teal or bluish undertones. Once you start building up the color layer by layer, you would notice a slight hint of black. The color is completely matte without any hint of shimmer or pearly touch. It has a subtle tone to it without getting loud but definitely different from any other shade. You can use the color as an eyeliner, kohl or even as a base for green or teal eyeshadows. Overall, it is a beautiful shade for every skin tone.
Texture: It is creamy and soft, so you need to be very careful not to apply the pressure while using the kajal. There is a high chance you might break the tip. Owing to its easy-going texture, it glides smoothly on the waterline without any tugging or pulling at all.
Pigmentation: The pigmentation is good for its price. The waterline requires a bit extra swipes to show up the color but eventually it does show up nicely and evenly. As a liner, two swipes are enough to bring out the color without much struggle. There is absolutely no irritation or sensation when it is applied on the waterline.
Staying Power: The color stays put for a good 3-4 hours without much smudging. The color is waterproof but not smudge proof when used for the long duration. I guess during winter, the longevity is much better than in summer.
All in all, I am pretty much impressed with the pencil and honestly speaking the price isn't going to hurt at all. For this quality, I am very happy to have bought it.
