Patanjali is one of my favorite herbal brands. I buy at least one product every month from them because it has so many things to offer. Their quality has never failed me. And more good news is that Patanjali products are available at all Big Bazaar stores across India. So whoever wants to try their product can get it from Big Bazaar now even if you don't have any Patanjali Chikitsalaya in your town. So the product I am going to review today is Patanjali Sheetal Oil. I got this product because I have major headache problem along with stress. I use Navratna Oil whenever I feel stressed out or have a headache. So when I got to know that Patanjali has introduced cooling oil, I got it immediately. Scroll down to know about Patanjali Sheetal Oil.

My Experience With Patanjali Sheetal Oil:

Patanjali Sheetal Oil comes in a transparent hexagonal plastic bottle with a maroon flip open cap. The bottle has a small hole which carefully dispenses the amount of oil you need. The bottle comes inside another white cardboard box. The cap of the bottle is not completely leak proof. The bottle always remains sticky because of the oil leaking from the sides of the cap. I won't consider the bottle to be travel-friendly as it is going to stain your stuff in the luggage. The oil is reddish brown in color. It has light consistency.

On application, it is not completely non-sticky but not so heavy that it's going to feel heavy on your head. The fragrance of this oil is very soothing and calming. The moment you open the bottle and sniff the fragrance, it feels so relieving and calming to the senses. The oil spreads very easily and gets absorbed in no time. I generally mix it up with pure coconut oil for added benefits and also because I cannot do without coconut oil. It provides a cooling effect on the scalp and feels really good if you are feeling stressful. This product is a multipurpose oil. I even use it for my mother's massage because she suffers from joint pains and it provides relief. This oil has also reduced my hair fall to a certain extent. Even the flakiness I used to have has reduced a bit. Though the consistency of the oil is light, it takes a little time to wash off. Even after washing, the fragrance is left behind for almost a day. I once tried it without mixing coconut oil and it did nothing to control the frizz and make my hair soft. So I always make sure that I mix it up with coconut oil. Overall, I am happy the way Patanjali Sheetal Oil has worked for me.

Pros Of Patanjali Sheetal Oil:
  • Pocket-friendly.
  • Provides relief from stress and headache.
  • Refreshing and calming fragrance.
  • Gets absorbed quickly.
  • Multipurpose product.
  • Works in reducing hair fall to a certain extent.
  • Controls flakiness.

Cons Of Patanjali Sheetal Oil:
  • The bottle is not travel-friendly.
  • One needs to mix it up with some other oil and apply because this oil does not make hair frizz free and soft.

Diva Likes Rating:

4/5

Final Note:

I think everyone should have a bottle of Patanjali Sheetal Oil in their house given its so many uses and affordable price tag. Today's stressed-out life wants some soothing feeling once in a while and Patanjali Sheetal Oil promises and provides you that.
