Dandruff is a regular problem for most of us. The problem aggravates mostly during dry months like winter and becomes literally uncontrollable. This time in my haul I received Himalaya Anti-Dandruff Hair Oil which I have been using for months now. Many people believe that shampoo is the solution but what I have noticed is that nothing is better than herbal oils to treat this problem. Moreover, shampoo merely cleanses the scalp for the time being and makes the hair super dry. So let us see this product in detail and how effective it was with my scalp in treating dandruff.

About Himalaya Herbals Anti-Dandruff Hair Oil:

Himalaya's Anti-Dandruff Hair Oil prevents dandruff by eliminating microbial infections of the scalp. Also, massaging of hair & scalp with a proper nutrient hair oil gives additional nutrition to the scalp and prevents hair loss. Massaging also increases the blood circulation in the scalp & this keeps the hair roots strong.
A non-sticky oil that can be applied daily.

My Experience With Himalaya Herbals Anti-Dandruff Hair Oil:

The product comes in a lightweight yet durable plastic bottle which is transparent and has a flip open green cap. This is quite a nice oil to travel with if you have the problem of the flaky scalp. It never spills or leaks unlike most of the oil bottles. Overall, I am very happy with the packaging.
The oil is totally transparent and has a runny consistency. It has a strong smell of herbs but nothing ghastly and some people might find it a turn-off. The oil is extremely light and non-sticky. So if you loathe oiling your hair with heavy sticky oils, I am sure you would love it. I generally apply it and keep it overnight and it gives me pretty good results. My dandruff problem is moderate and the oil works pretty well for me. After rinsing the next day, I have noticed that my scalp was refreshed without any trace of flakiness. Another notable thing is that it also reduces hair fall and my hair felt very soft and supple.

The oil has the goodness of various elements which helps in nourishing and keeping the hair healthy. The tea tree oil has antibacterial, antiseptic and antifungal properties that fight dandruff and other fungal infections. The snowflake tree has astringent and anti-inflammatory properties too. Rosemary strengthens hair follicles, making hair grow longer and stronger. It also has Neem which is famous for its herbal medicinal properties. One drawback is that you have to continue using the oil every time. Once you stop, the dandruff problem will come back again. Moreover, the oil works only on moderate dandruff problems but not on severe ones. For then latter, you have to consult the dermatologist.

Pros Of Himalaya Herbals Anti-Dandruff Hair Oil:
  • Nice and efficient packaging.
  • Transparent, light and runny consistency.
  • Non-greasy and doesn't limp the hair.
  • The oil has the goodness of various elements.
  • Helps with the dandruff problem.
  • Reduces hair fall.

Cons Of Himalaya Herbals Anti-Dandruff Hair Oil:
