Hello all! How is it going? I am on cloud nine after receiving a welcome gift from Diva likes. I can't thank Lavanya enough for sending me the gift box. One of the products I have received in the gift box is Lakme Eyeconic Kajal White. Though I am very experimental in using eye colors and love using eye makeup, I was a bit shy using this one. I loved seeing it on Kareena Kapoor, the brand ambassador of Lakme and wanted to imitate her look. Was I able to do so and shed my inhibition of using white kajal on my eyes? Read on to know what changes it brought in my look.

My Experience With Lakme Eyeconic Kajal In White:

Lakme Eyeconic White Kajal comes in a white color twist up pen which looks very classy. The texture of the kajal is very creamy and soft. It glides smoothly on eyes and does not have any fall out.

When I saw this kajal in goody box, I started imagining myself in a whole new avatar after applying it. However, I had my own inhibitions and I somehow believed that only fair skin tone girls will look pretty with white color on eyes. As my skin tone is dusky, I was shy to even try it and come face to face with my flop look. The next day morning after I received the goody box, I was determined to shed my fear of using white on my eyes. I tried using it on my upper lash and it turned to be a bad experiment. I was not in a mood to give up. So, I tried to revert the look using the kajal on my waterline. Do check below for the look I created.

The staying power of the product was decent but the claim of 10 hours is certainly exaggeration. I would say 4-5 hours was the maximum time this eyeliner can go up to. There was no irritation to my eyes when I applied it or for the time it stayed on my eyes. Plain water does not wash off the Lakme Eyeconic White Kajal which proves the waterproof claim of the product to be true. As I have tried the swatches on my hand, I can say that the smudge proof claim is over rated. It does smudge and I have conducted the test below:

I used Colorbar Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner Black and Lakme Glide on Eye Colour Metallic Black on my upper eyelash for the look I created. I wanted to pull off the entire look. So I teamed it up with a light turquoise top and accessorized with pearl drop necklace. By the time I finished clicking my pictures, I was over the shyness of using a white liner on my eyes and I thank Lavanya once again for sending me this product. I am now open to experiment much more on my eyes as long as they stay gorgeous!

Pros Of Lakme Eyeconic Kajal In White:
  • Absolutely water proof
  • Travel friendly packaging
  • Decent staying power of 4-5 hrs
  • Creamy texture
  • Smooth tip and glides softly
  • Good white pigmentation
  • Very safe on eyes

Cons Of Lakme Eyeconic Kajal In White:
  • Not entirely smudge proof
  • 10 hours of staying power is exaggeration

Diva Likes Rating:

4/5

Final Note:

I believe Lakme eye products are generally pretty decent and worth a try. This one is definitely a good purchase. If you are someone like me who believes that white eyeliners are only for the fair skin tone beauties, it's time to break the myth and experiment with the white liner. Break the shy routine and flaunt those gorgeous eyes after using the Lakme Eyeconic Kajal White.
