Hi friends! I always keep trying different types of makeup and skin care products. I allocate a certain budget every month exclusively to buy myself some vanity. I know it is not a good habit but I can't help it now. I am totally addicted. So, here comes the review about my most recent purchase from Lakme and that is a CC Complexion Cream. It is an all in one product and is very handy in the morning time. Especially when you are running out of time and cannot afford to apply layer after layer of skincare and makeup, this product works great.

My Experience With Lakme CC Complexion Cream:

Lakme CC Complexion Cream comes in a dark pink cardboard packaging with a beige colored tube inside. The tube is made out of sturdy plastic and comes with a screw type cap. It is a light weight and extremely travel friendly product. The smell of CC cream is mild and citrus kind. The consistency is foundation like and is slightly thicker which gives you a better control over the application. I use the dotting method to apply it on my face and use my fingers to spread it on the face. To give the final touch, I use a lightly damp sponge to blend it evenly. It spreads easily on the skin and gives medium to heavy coverage. I don't think you need a concealer with this unless you have some major skin issues. It gives powdery matte finish. You may mix some lotion for a dewy effect. It feels fresh and light on skin. It does not have moisturizing effect. So unless you are oily skinned, you can add a little lotion underneath. It makes complexion look better and acts as a perfect makeup base. Staying power is superb. I do not need touch ups during my 9 to 4 shift with this one. I have not had any breakouts or skin allergies while using this in spite of the long list of chemicals. It has SPF that makes it perfect for day time use. There are 2 shades available for different skin tones namely Bronze and Beige. The one that went well for my skin tone is Beige and it works great for me. I love this product and will surely recommend it to everyone out there.

Pros Of Lakme CC Complexion Cream:
  • Two shades are available to choose from
  • Travel friendly, leak proof and sleek tube
  • Ideal consistency
  • Gives matte finish and medium to heavy coverage
  • Evens out skin tone and makes complexion look bright
  • Staying power is good
  • Mild smell and contains SPF
  • Perfect day cream which is non-sticky

Cons Of Lakme CC Complexion Cream:
  • Not moisturising enough
  • A little bit pricey
  • Lots of chemicals in the ingredients list

Diva Likes Rating:

4/5

Final Note:

In spite of its minor cons, I love it for daily use. It saves a lot of time as it acts like an all-in-one product. I am definitely going to repurchase it and would recommend it to everyone.
