- Roasted Chana Dal - 3 cups
- Sugar - 2 cups
- Water - 1 cup
- Oil / Ghee - 2 cups
Grease a thali and keep it aside. Grind chana dal and make it into a fine powder.
Heat oil in a pan.
Add chana dal powder to it and fry for 1 miute as it is already rosted.
Boil water in a pan and add sugar. When sugar gets dissolved, add chana dal paste into it. Fry till it forms a thick dough.
Spread on a plate of about half an inch thick. When set cut according to your choice.
Roasted Chana Dal Barfi is now ready to be served.
