A face wash is the first and most important step when it comes to the skin care regime. No matter what skin type you are born with, choosing the right type of face wash is very crucial. Face wash help in dissolving and removing all the dirt and grime that get accumulated every day due to pollution and environment. If you don't remove this dirt and grime, they will block the skin pores. Washing your face twice a day with a good face wash is very important. But the commercial ones available in the market may contain harsh chemicals that can even damage the skin. So I decided to make my own face wash customized by my choice of ingredients. It was like an experiment but it came out well. So, here I am to share it with you all. Read further to know how you can use minimum ingredients to get the best out of a homemade face wash.

Things Needed:
  • A glycerin soap bar. You can even use liquid castile soap but I couldn't get my hands on it so I used the regular glycerin soap available in the market and it worked well.
  • Honey.
  • Coconut oil. You can use olive oil or almond oil as per what suits you. A clean bowl.
  • A clean empty bottle to store the face wash.

Procedure:

Scrap out half of the glycerin soap from the soap bar. Cut it into small pieces to accelerate the melting process.

Take a bowl full of hot boiling water and add the soap bits into it. Keep stirring until everything melts and the water changes color.

Once the soap is melted, add 2 tablespoons of honey to it and mix well.

Lastly add 4-5 drops of coconut oil into it. Mix everything well.

Finally, store your honey glycerin face wash in a clean bottle.

Directions For Use:

To use it, just wet your face, take a little amount of the face wash in your palm and rub it to create some lather. Massage your face with it for a minute and wash with warm water.

The face wash does not lather like a regular face wash but the lather it creates is enough to clean the face. The honey in it will add a glow on your face. Coconut oil and glycerin will help to moisturize the skin. I hope you liked this simple recipe and will definitely try it.
