For the last few months, I have been under the treatment for acne and angry breakouts and hardly used any products except for few. Slowly my skin is getting back to normal and so this time I went out to try a simple acne free face wash for the skin. Clean & Clear has always been a safe brand for me as it never aggravated the situation if not solved it totally. When this new and improved launch came with neem and lemon formula, I thought of trying it out for my skin. So do you want to know how it worked for my acne prone skin? Read on to know about it in detail.

Apply a small amount on wet palm and work into a rich lather. Gently massage onto face, avoiding the eye area. Rinse off thoroughly. Use twice daily for skin that's clean, clear and beautiful.
My Experience With Clean & Clear Pimple Clearing Face Wash:
The product comes in a long slender greenish tube with a click clock system. Sadly, it didn't work for me as the lid doesn't close properly. All my chances of traveling with the tube are down the drain. The face wash is of pale light green color but when swatched on the hand it is almost transparent. It has a very appealing aroma of neem and lemon which is great for the nasal senses. It gives a thorough refreshing feel when used early in the morning.
The consistency of the face wash is thick gel-like although it is not runny at all. There are no beads or any kind of minute constituents for exfoliation as acne prone skin is not much of a lover of scrubbing. You require a very less amount of product for a wash and upon massaging over the face, it forms a considerable amount of foam. Unlike gel face washes, this one can be easily rinsed and doesn't form a slippery layer that requires too much water to wash off. The aroma lingers for some time after the wash.
Coming to the effectual part of the product, it cleans off my skin thoroughly and removes every layer of dust, oil, and grime from the face. It is the kind of face wash that gives you a squeaky clean look. I also noticed a slight bright glow on my face. After patting my skin dry, I noticed that all the layers of oil has been washed off efficiently without leaving my skin parched and stretchy at all. Most definitely one would surely require a nice moisturizer after the wash, but a simple aloe vera gel does the trick for me. We cannot complain about the drying factor much as 95% acne-prone skin are oily which causes the angry breakouts and all the face washes, medicines or lotion performs the task of eliminating extra oil to prevent the breakouts. For extreme dry skin, I wouldn't exactly recommend the face wash but for other skin types, this is definitely a great pick.
I have been using the face wash for a week or so and noticed that there has been no sign of acne and my skin has quite adapted to the face wash. I do not know how effective the face wash would be for eliminating acne issues, but it surely prevents the same. For the price I am paying for a daily use regular face wash, I think this is a great pick.

I am fully satisfied with the product. When you have acne prone skin, you are always skeptical in using various products. Thankfully it worked on me and I would definitely recommend it to oily and acne prone skin.
