Of late, my skin is acting so weird. At one moment it is dry and another it's oily. The season change is the reason; the weather is creating havoc with my skin. Some time back, my face started to break out badly. It was like one pimple goes, and another pops up. So finally I visited a dermatologist. She advised me to use a purifying cleansing gel and sunscreen by Bioderma. I am going to present my thoughts on Bioderma Sebium Gel Moussant Purifying Cleansing Foaming Gel today. So let's see whether it is worth the money or not.
About Bioderma Sebium Gel Moussant Purifying Cleansing Foaming Gel:
This foaming gel gently cleanses and purifies the skin without drying it. It limits sebum secretion and thoroughly purifies the epidermis. Its ultra-gentle soap free formula respects the cutaneous balance. The patented natural D.A.F (dermatological advanced formulation) complex raises the skin’s tolerance threshold. Good cutaneous and ocular tolerance. Non-comodogenic.

Directions For Use:
Apply on wet skin. Work into the foam. Rinse well and gently dry. Use morning and evening. Can be used as shaving foam.
My Experience With Bioderma Sebium Gel Moussant Purifying Cleansing Foaming Gel:
The foaming gel is packaged in a sturdy transparent plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. The transparency makes it so easy to check how much product is left. It has a sea green gel inside which looks so pretty and feels ocean like to me. Personally, I love the pump dispenser packaging, as it is easy to use and saves time. What I love the most is it can be locked when not in use, making it travel-friendly as well. It looks bulky but I have no qualms in traveling with it.
Talking about the consistency, it is gel based which lathers pretty well just like how you want with your other face washes. It requires a little less than a pea-sized amount for entire face (refer the swatch). Since it is gel based, it is little runny but spreads easily on the palm and face. The face wash really refreshes the skin and has a cool cucumber like fragrance which awakens my skin and mind. It claims to gently cleanse and purify the skin without making it dry, and I absolutely buy that. It neither dries out the skin nor it feels stretchy. But my skin is little sensitive, so I always apply a moisturizer post face wash. I have been using this for the past one month and I have to admit that it is very gentle and does not irritate the skin. It is actually helping me in clearing out my skin and controls breakouts like magic.
It is very good for people with sensitive skin who don't like to use chemical based products on skin. It helps in balancing ph levels of the skin. It says it limits oil secretion, and it definitely controls the same but cannot eliminate oil secretion as it comes from within your skin where hormones and other things play a huge role in determining how your skin behaves. Also, we don't want to completely wipe off the oil secreted by the skin as the natural sebum protects the skin.
It is also claimed that it can be used as shaving foam. I haven't used it that way yet, so I cannot comment but since it is soothing and lathers well, I am sure one can use it as shaving foam. It is purifying and removes dirt, grime and every trace of makeup as well. So I am happy for its multi-purpose use.
After using this face wash, I can say my skin looks fresh and even. It has imparted a healthy glow to my skin. It is little on the expensive side, but it is worth every penny. Moreover, it will last you a long time, say around 4-5 months because just a little amount is needed. It is best for acne prone skin and is the best skin care regimen that one can follow. I say, it is my HG face wash.

If you have irritated, sensitive, acne prone skin, this is the product for you. It is ideal for combination/oily skin. I have had dry skin which turned into combination skin, and it is working pretty well for me. My skin has come back to its original dry form and it is still working well on dry skin, it's just that now I can feel little stretchiness which goes away after applying moisturizer.
