Hello, everyone! I have always created smoky eyes in a particular way but I recently discovered from one of my friends that you can always create a smoky eye with some added depth. I hardly use green eye shadow for my eye makeup but the way she created this beautiful green smoky eye was fantastic. When paired with a very soft blush and soft gloss MLBB lip color, the eye makeup looks as stunning as it can be. So, I decided to recreate this metallic olive green smokey eye makeup for parties using the very steps she did and I really hope you guys will like it.

Products Used:
  • Kryolan TV Paint Stick
  • Lakme Rose Powder
  • Sleek Bad Girl iDivine Eyeshadow Palette
  • Lakme 9-to-5 Eye Color Quartet Tanjore Rush
  • Faces Long Wear Eye Pencil Solid Black
  • Maybelline Colossal Super Black Kajal
  • Faces Ultime Pro Metaliglow Champagne
  • Inglot Freedom System Brow Powder
  • Maybelline The Falsies Mascara

Steps Involved:

1. Start with moisturizing the eye area well. It is an important step to a flawless application of eye makeup. I have used olive oil to massage around the eyes and wiped it off with a wet tissue. It works great for my dry eyes. You can also opt for a good eye cream or aloe vera gel.

2. I have concealed the under eyes only with the Kryolan TV Paint Stick and baked the area with the Lakme Rose Powder. Since there will be fallouts I didn't dust off the powder until the last step.

3. Next, I tight-lined my upper and lower waterline with the Faces Long Wear Eye Pencil Solid Black which is my current favorite right now. It gives a solid jet black color.

4. Then, using the Maybelline Colossal Super Black Kajal I have filled the inner and outer corners as it is creamy and easier to smudge.

5. Using a smudger brush, I have smudged the color up to the crease area and smoothened the harsh lines. You may also intensify the color as well.

6. Using a flat brush, I applied a metallic green color (from Sleek Bad Girl iDivine Eyeshadow Palette) all over the lid on top of the black color.

7. With a blending brush, I simply blended the green with the existing black color on the crease.

8. Next with a clean fluffy brush, I picked up a soft brown color and defined the crease a bit more to merge the black and green and gave a smooth effect to it.

9. With the help of a damp and small detailed brush, I picked up the olive green color from the Lakme 9-to-5 Eye Color Quartet Tanjore Rush and patted on the center of the crease to give an edgy effect. Then blended the color with the dark green underneath.

10. With the help of a smudger brush, I mixed the dark green and black eye shadow from the Sleek Bad Girl iDivine Eyeshadow Palette and smudged on the lower lash line to give a smoky effect.

11. Then, I used the Faces Ultime Pro Metaliglow Champagne and applied in the inner corner and brow bone to highlight.

12. In the last step, I used the Inglot Freedom System Brow Powder to fill the brows and used the Maybelline The Falsies Mascara for the lashes.

13. And your metallic olive green smokey eye for parties is ready!
