Hello, everyone! Hope you all are doing great! You all know about the gigantic haul I received in December, and I am still continuing the reviews as I was continuously trying each and every product. Among the cute and pretty products was the Colorbar Pro Pop Heart Mini Collection and the neon colors are so pretty that you would fall for them instantly. Today I am going to review the shade "Tangerine Mojito" from the collection which is very pretty orange color. Summery colors like these are very appealing and chic. So here goes the review of the nail lacquer.

Directions For Use:

One Stroke application: Apply wider by applying light pressure on the bottom and stroke lightly up.

My Experience With Colorbar Pro Pop Heart Mini Collection Tangerine Mojito:

Packaging: The packaging is great where four little bottles come in a cardboard box wrapping. The bottle is very small, cute and extremely easy to carry anywhere. The glass bottle is sweet and round and also has a thick covering. The plastic cap is sleek matte black in color and also has the applicator attached. Overall, very nice and fuss free packaging.
Shade: The shade is a beautiful bright neon orange. It resembles that of an orange popsicle all of us were crazy about. It is very bright but has warm undertones and that is the sole reason it never looks gaudy. It has no shimmers or anything and a perfect summer/spring color.

Applicator: The brush is small but effective. It does require slight effort for long nails as the bristles are dense and short. It picks up the right amount of color and spreads it evenly on the nails. No matter how many coats you go for, it never looks streaky or uneven. In my opinion, the applicator is good.

Pigmentation: This is where I never I like the neon colors as every color has poor pigmentation. On the swatches, I have applied three coats yet it is still translucent. No matter how many layer you apply, it will remain like this until you use a white nail polish as a base. Hence, to build up the pigmentation, you need a nice base.
Texture: The texture is runny and you have to keep on applying it. The first layer is literally nothing and the texture needs great improvement. It never forms bubbles, even if it has a light texture. The color has a nice semi-glossy finish but the gloss stays for a day or two and after that it looks slightly dull. It also dries very fast and is easy to layer it quickly.

Staying Power: The color stayed on my nail for 3-4 days without any base or top coat. I also love how it is easy to remove without any untidiness.

Pros Of Colorbar Pro Pop Heart Mini Collection Tangerine Mojito:
  • Cute travel-friendly packaging.
  • Good applicator.
  • The shade is a beautiful bright neon orange with warm undertones.
  • Streak free and bubble free texture.
  • Semi-glossy finish.
  • The formulation is DBP, Toluene, and Formaldehyde free.
  • Staying power is 3-4 days without any base or top coat.
  • Reasonably priced.

Cons Of Colorbar Pro Pop Heart Mini Collection Tangerine Mojito:
  • Runny texture.
  • Very poor pigmentation.

Diva Likes Rating:

3/5

Final Note:

The color is pretty but if you want to work it out, you have to use a white base to pop up the color. Otherwise, I loved this neon orange color and I see myself sporting it often in the coming summer.

    1. Fair to medium will pull it off.. it doesn't look that gaudy at all. others may use a funky top coat.

  2. Pigmentation seems poor, but the shade is pretty and bright.
