Hello, pretty ladies. Hope you are in the best of health. This time it has been raining cats and dogs in my city and for a lover of rain, I am thoroughly enjoying the weather at home. Today I am here to review a beautiful lip color perfect for our naturally warm Indian skin tones. Red and pink are quite favorites among lipstick lovers and when these two colors are mixed with a warm hue, we cannot ask for anything better. Off late, I have been lucky to experience a lot of Coloressence products, thanks to my huge Diva Likes haul and I have noticed that some of the products turned out to be remarkably good. So, let's find out details about the following review and see how it turned out to be.

My Experience With Coloressence Mesmerizing Lip Color Cherry Blossom:

Packaging: The lipstick comes in a black sleek packaging with the same old twist up function. The name and number of the shade are written below the tube. Although I find the packaging a bit boring with no appealing touch, also because I own too many Coloressence lipsticks, it is easy to carry around and quite sturdy as it survives falls easily.
Shade: I absolutely adore the name of the shade. Cherry blossom is a pinkish cherry red with no shimmers at all. The color looks very beautiful for Indian skin tones and has a quite warm touch to it. It is a perfect color to brighten up your face for a party or wedding function without looking too loud.

Texture: The lipstick glides smoothly on my lips without any tug or pull. Unlike its other variant, it is fairly moisturizing but doesn't help the chapped or dry flakes on the lips if not properly exfoliated. The color is enriched and settles down with a glossy finish.
Pigmentation: The pigmentation is commendable for the price. With just one firm swipe, it easily covers my slight dark spots on lips and gives a semi-opaque finish. Two swipes are enough for a neat finish. The color bleeds slightly if not used with a lip liner or matte touch.
Staying Power: The lipstick stays for a duration of 3-4 hours but it cannot survive heavy meals. It does survive light drinks or snacks but after that you would require a nice touch up for the same. The color fades evenly if the lips are moisturized, i.e., a lip balm is used underneath but if the lips are not properly hydrated, it forms patches with the dry flakes and looks extremely ugly.

The price for the color is pretty decent for a regular cherry pink color and the quality is also fairly good.

Pros Of Coloressence Mesmerizing Lip Color Cherry Blossom:
  • Simple, neat and sturdy packaging.
  • Cherry blossom is a pinkish cherry red with no shimmers at all.
  • A perfect shade that brightens up the face and very festive.
  • Easily suits the warm Indian skin tones.
  • Glides smoothly and has a nice glossy finish.
  • Amazing pigmentation with just 1-2 swipes.
  • Decent staying power.
  • Reasonable price tag for a daily wear lip color.

Cons Of Coloressence Mesmerizing Lip Color Cherry Blossom:
  • Doesn't help the dry lips.
  • Requires a lip liner underneath as it bleeds.
  • Fades unevenly and looks ugly on dry lips.

Diva Likes Rating:

4.5/5

Final Note:

I am totally in love with this color as it immediately brightens up my face on a dull skin day. For the price, it is a beautiful color to add in your precious kitty. I would highly recommend this color unless your lips are extremely dry and parched.
