For a nail lacquer fanatic like me, nail remover is an indispensable product in my kitty. Nail remover is something you always have to be careful while purchase because nails are quite delicate and are prone to breakage if wrong cosmetic products are used on them. I am always in search for good nail color remover that works effectively and doesn't dry out the nails as well. I feel the market has fewer choices when it comes to nail removers and hence it is difficult to make choices or try the variety. Lakme nail color removers are something that have been existing for quite a long time now and no matter how many nail removers I use, I always find myself coming back to this pretty one. Do you want to know why? Read on to find more about it.

My Experience With Lakme Nail Remover:

Lakme nail remover has been in the market for a long time now and there's hardly a change we noticed in terms of packaging. It comes in a small rectangular transparent glass bottle with a plastic screw cap. The bottle has a small opening to take out the product and control the flow effortlessly. I have travelled several times with the bottle and never experienced any spillage or damage issues. However, having a glass encasement you have to be careful to avoid the fall. From the glass bottle, there's a faint hue like purple to the liquid as well as when you swatch it on the cotton pad. The nail enamel remover has quite a strong disturbing spirit smell when you smell it. It is the kind which can give you a headache. Few swipes of the remover is enough to take off the nail lacquer within few minutes.

Coming to its performance for glitter nail polishes, I would say it performs well enough than Colorbar, Faces or Revlon. For the glitter nail paints, it is convenient to keep the soaked cotton pad on the nails to absorb the liquid and then take it off to avoid rigorous rubbing. For the stubborn nail arts, graffiti, hexes or caviar nail polishes, Lakme takes slightly more effort as these varnishes are quite stubborn. The only complain I have with this product is that it makes the nails slightly dry post-removal of the nail color and I feel the need to apply nail cream after that. There is no layer of whitish cast post using it, which is pretty good. It is surprising to find that a brand like Lakme has not included any ingredients list considering that it is such an old product. The product is pretty affordable and reasonable with the price tag. I wish it had a larger variant as well because the bottle finishes off within a month for me and I find it really lazy to buy it every month.

Pros Of Lakme Nail Remover:
  • Lightweight and travel-friendly.
  • Very efficient product in removing the nail color.
  • Takes off stubborn glitter and graffiti nail paints too.
  • No whitish cast.
  • Reasonable price tag.

Cons Of Lakme Nail Remover:
  • Dries out the nails.
  • No ingredients list.

Final Note:

Nail remover is something staple for every month use and therefore I am always in search for a pocket-friendly yet quality remover. By far, this one is the best regular nail paint remover I have come across. I highly recommend it to all the readers.
