The other day when I went to South City to buy some Rimmel Scandel eyes, I saw the counter of Sally Hansen beside it with cute bottles of nail varnishes. So, I thought of buying some of the textured nail colors. I have been eyeing the crackle for a long time but most of the times it is unavailable! I actually never heard of these bar glitter before. So it was a new experience for me to use them. These fuzzy coats actually drew my attention in the counter because they were such cute colors. My Experience With Sally Hansen Fuzzy Coat Textured Nail Color 100 Wool Lite:

I read about these textured nail varnishes long back but there wasn't any Sally Hansen store near my place. So the thought of having one nail color from this brand vanished. But when I saw them few days back, I couldn't control my urge to try this brand. The shade I bought is called Wool Lite. I always think twice before buying something pricey but then I thought Sally Hansen is one brand I can trust. This nail color has bar glitters in them which are light peach in color. The consistency of the nail polish is medium (resembles the base coat from Sally Hansen) but then you won't have problem applying them. The amount of particles inside the bottle is quite a lot for effect/texture to come up completely. With these particles, the nail polish has a beauty of its own. The wand is decent to apply the nail coating.

If the varnish is applied on bare nail or above a transparent coat, it requires 2 coats and with 3-4 coats you can get it opaque. On top of a dark nail color, it just requires a single coat which is quite impressive! But there is a catch here! What you have to do is that - dip the wand inside the polish and swirl it 2-3 times and quickly apply it. You will get the desired amount of glitters you want in just one want coat. The drying takes about 10 minutes but I am so impatient that I use my hair dryer to make the process quick. After application and drying, the glossy touch won't be there but it can be created if a transparent upper layer of varnish is applied. When applied, the texture looks more like crazy-college-stuff than festive type. It stays on my nails for more than 3 days without chipping and with a base coat it stays for 5-6 days.

Pros Of Sally Hansen Fuzzy Coat Textured Nail Color 100 Wool Lite:
  • Presence of innovative bar glitters.
  • It has medium consistency which leads to easy and smooth application.
  • There is enough amount of bar glitter.
  • Lovely peach color.
  • The staying power is really nice.
  • Quantity is decent.

Cons Of Sally Hansen Fuzzy Coat Textured Nail Color 100 Wool Lite:
  • The price will pinch your pocket.

Final Note:

I absolutely recommend it! It is a must have in your stash if you are a person who likes texture nail colors. Moreover, you can experiment with these crazy bar glitters as well as colorful bright base colors. Various nail art designs can be done with this.
