1) Gram Flour Face Pack For Sensitive Skin:
Ingredients: One spoon gram flour, Two spoons rose water.
Method of Preparation: Mix both the ingredients to form a clean paste. You can use any branded rose water. I usually use Dabur rose water. Apply the pack all over face and neck. This face pack can be used daily before bath.
Benefits: This is the best face treatment for sensitive skin. It provides a perfect moisture balance and there are no allergies or side effects. It cools down the skin and tackles all the minor skin imperfections.
2) Gram Flour Face Pack For Oily Skin:
Ingredients: One spoon gram flour, One spoon sour yogurt.
Method of Preparation: Take a clean container and mix both the ingredients. Make a thick, non-dripping paste and apply all over face and neck. Leave it for 10 minutes and wash it with warm water. Pat to dry with a clean towel.
Benefits: Gram flour tightens the skin removing excess oil and dirt in the skin pores resulting in fairer skin. Yogurt helps in balancing the moisture level without drying up the skin.
3) Gram Flour Face Pack For Dry Skin:
Ingredients: One spoon gram flour, One spoon honey.
Method of Preparation: Mix both the ingredients well. As honey is sticky and thick, it will form a sticky paste. Apply this paste on your face and neck. Massage it using finger tips. If you find difficulty in applying the sticky paste, you can add few drops of water. This forms a thick face pack. Because of the presence of honey, the pack does not dry fully. You will find the pack wet and sticky even after 15 minutes. But don't worry as rinsing this face pack is an easy job. You can wash it with warm water after 15 minutes.
Benefits: Gram flour combined with honey nourishes skin reducing the blemishes and wrinkles. Honey provides great hydration to the skin removing the dry and dead skin, making the skin supple and glowing.
4) Gram Flour Face Pack For Acne:
Ingredients: One spoon gram flour, One spoon turmeric, 2 spoons buttermilk.
Method of Preparation: Take a clean bowl and mix all the ingredients in the directed ratio. This face pack is more effective if you use cold buttermilk. Make a smooth paste and apply to your face and neck. You may feel burning sensation when applied due to turmeric. You can add more buttermilk in such cases. Rinse it with water after drying. The yellowish tint of turmeric stays behind your skin. You might feel awkward with the color left over, but do not use soap to remove the yellow tint. Try applying this pack in the evening time or before bed time to avoid the situation. The color will go once you use any face wash or soap the next day.
Benefits: Turmeric is a great anti-bacterial agent which helps in the reduction of acne. Buttermilk cools down the heat produced and soothes your skin. Gram flour along with buttermilk reduces scars and tones the skin complexion and color.
5) Gram Flour Face Pack As Bleach:
Ingredients: One spoon gram flour, One spoon lemon juice, One spoon water.
Method of preparation: Mix gram flour, lemon juice and water in a clean container. Water is used for blending to get a smooth texture. Apply the pack in chin and nose areas where you have more facial hairs and dark pigments. Rinse with warm water after 10 minutes.
Benefits: This face pack when used regularly, helps in reducing the facial hair and dark pigments. Lemon encourages hair fall and is an excellent bleaching agent. Gram flour brightens up the skin reducing dark pigmentation and provides a healthy complexion. This face pack is a perfect skin tonic.
