I love American food as much as I love Indian food. Specially the American breakfast menu is something which tickles my tastebuds. One item in that menu list is Hash Browns. Me and my husband love it. So there is no reason for me to not to try it. Of course, I gave my own desi touch to it but I did stick to its original flavor.
- Potatoes - 6
- Water - To boil
- Salt - As per taste
- Pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Oil - 2 teaspoons
Peel off the outer layer of potatoes.
Grate the potatoes into fine pieces.
Take a pan to heat, add water and boil it. Once the water is boiled, add the grated potato pieces and boil for 10-15 mins. Squeeze excess water. Then add salt and pepper and mix it well with the grated potato pieces. Allow the pieces to stick to each other (This is because the water used to boil the potato gets sticky and makes the pieces stick).
Then turn on the other side and wait for 2 mins.
Enjoy the Hash Browns with Barbeque Sauce. It tastes great without any dip too.
