The day is here! Whole Damn Mess has penned a unique love story for all the rock and roll dreamers. Their debut album "The Queen And The Outcast" is out! This album is all about a beautiful love story based on the cliched tale of two archetypes, the Rich Girl and the Bad Boy. The singer/songwriter Don Miggs has realized in the process that having everything you need doesn’t mean that you should give up on what you’ve always wanted. He wanted this music to be everything to someone, not something to everyone and that's how this came about.

Whole Damn Mess Album

The Queen and the Outcast is the kind of album that can only come after the ripening of life experience, and not just because of the singular story that it tells. The music itself is a unique blend of rock abandon tempered by a knowing cleverness, with pop hooks that are not only able to worm their way into the ear but provide something to ponder for the brain inside. In a culture that seems increasingly skewed to the 14-year-old mentality, it’s refreshing to find an album not made for kids that can nonetheless still make you feel like one.

So here goes the tracklisting of "The Queen and The Outcast":
1) And There They Were
2) We Don’t Need A Reason
3) Be Good To Yourself
4) Anywhere Without You
5) That’s Just How It Goes
6) Maybe We Should Do It
7) Helium
8) Summer Under Covers
9) When She Says
10) Got You Stuck in My Head

I love all the songs on the album but if I had to pick my favorites, there are two tracks which really stood out for me.

The first one is called, “Anywhere Without You” where Don conveys his feelings for his wife Lisa in the most beautiful way and he desires assurance from her that it's all going to be alright.

My second favorite is called "We Don't Need A Reason" where Don explains the leap of faith that any two people in love take when they just know it’s right.

Beautifully written lyrics and soothing-yet-driving music make the entire album a treat to hear for music lovers.
