Baby Lips seems to be a staple one in my haul every time and this time, I have received Baby Lips Lychee Addict. My Experience With Maybelline Baby Lips Lychee Addict:

Maybelline Baby Lips Lychee Addict comes in a cardboard packaging. The little lip balm has a twist function with a tight shut cap. The twist function is easy to use and also works very well. These are so light weight, small in size and fit literally anywhere. Overall, it is a great travel-friendly packaging with a sturdy body.

The lip balm is light baby pink in color and has a sweet lychee smell. I love the fragrance like anything and it stays for around half an hour. The swatch is completely transparent on both the hands and lips. Those who loves non-tinted lip balm like me would adore this completely. It gives a nice sheen to the lips and also works great underneath a lipstick.
The texture is smooth but not overtly creamy. It glides on the lips so smoothly and works great as a non-sticky lip balm. This is one of the factors I stick to Baby Lips because it is lightweight on the lips and doesn't feel uncomfortable. The feeling of not wearing anything yet the moisturization it provides is great.

This particular lip balm is slight less hydrating than the other Baby Lips versions I have used. It does protect the lips from drying out but it is not very effective to heal the already chapped lips. Therefore, if you don't exfoliate well prior to the application of the lip balm, it is not going to work well. The effectiveness is good but not very strong in winter. It has SPF 20 which is great for lips. My lips have the habit of pigmenting once exposed to the sunlight and that is why I always prefer lip balms with sun protection. The staying power is definitely not 8 hours as claimed but merely 2-3 hours. You have to reapply every time you eat or drink anything.

Pros Of Maybelline Baby Lips Lychee Addict:
  • Cute and travel-friendly packaging.
  • Non-tinted lip balm.
  • Sweet lychee smell.
  • Smooth texture.
  • Moisturizing.
  • Works well under lip color.
  • It has SPF 20.
  • Staying power is 2-3 hours.

Cons Of Maybelline Baby Lips Lychee Addict:
  • Heavy moisturization isn't there which is what we need in winter.
  • Staying power is less compared to other Baby Lips versions.

Diva Likes Rating:

4/5

Final Note:

The lip balm is apt throughout the year except in winter. The heavy hydration isn't there but it works just fine for me.
