I am not a person who is fond of hair coloring. I have always preferred my natural hair color over artificially coloring my hair. They add chemicals to your hair and do the damaging as well. But henna is something which has been used by women since long for getting colored hair and cover gray hair. Apart from coloring your hair and covering grays, henna also conditions your hair very well. I have used henna packs specially meant for conditioning part rather than coloring and trust me it just conditions instead of coloring when mixed with some specific ingredients. It softens and adds that beautiful natural shine to the hair. Diva Likes sent me Richfeel Henna Mehendi Powder in my latest haul. I knew it would be useful in making henna hair packs and I will be sharing my views about the same in today's post.

Mix contents well in water and prepare a thick paste. Apply the paste on your hair and leave it for 1 hour before washing off with normal water.

My Experience With Richfeel Henna Mehendi Powder:

Richfeel Henna Mehendi Powder comes in a dark green paper packet with green henna leaf designs on the front and the details about the product on the back. I would advise emptying the product in an airtight container for storing it. I have done the same. The henna is same like other henna powders. It's an olive green powder with the strong henna fragrance. The good part is that this henna powder is a mixture of some very essential herbs for our hair. These herbs have been known since time immemorial for their ability to improve the quality of your hair. You need to mix the powder with water very well to avoid any lumps.

I just want the conditioning part, I mix some other ingredients in this paste as well. I keep this paste for an hour and it dries up in this time frame. It feels very cool during the time it's drying. My sister used to shampoo the very next day after applying henna. I tried the same thing once and it left my hair very frizzy and dry. So I definitely follow this henna paste treatment with a shampoo and conditioner. This henna leaves my hair soft and smooth to touch after shampooing. And the best part is that when mixed with some specific ingredients it does not alter the color of my hair at all. I am about to finish this packet with once a week application and it definitely worked on my dry hair. It adds a beautiful natural shine to my dull looking hair. I am not sure if it will help in getting that reddish color to the hair or not but for the conditioning part it is a very good product.

Pros Of Richfeel Henna Mehendi Powder:
  • Very affordable.
  • Makes hair soft and smooth.
  • Adds shine to the hair.
  • Does not change my hair color.
  • Contains some essential herbs beneficial for hair.
  • Works as a great conditioning hair pack.

Cons Of Richfeel Henna Mehendi Powder:
  • Storing the product can be a problem if you don't have an airtight container.

Diva Likes Rating:

4.5/5

Final Note:

Richfeel Henna Mehendi Powder is a good hair conditioning product if you are not into hair coloring but still want the benefits of henna. It's an herbal product from a well-known brand and contains some added herbs as well. So I give a thumbs up to it as I am happy with the way it works for my hair.

  3. Sounds like a great henna powder. I like ones that add a tinge of colour - the deep maroon highlight that is usually visible under sunlight. But I would love to give this a try.
