Today I am here with the review of a product which is present in the market since long but recently reformulated and launched all over again. It's Lakme Face Magic Skin Tints Soufflé Natural Marble. I am not a foundation person. I just use a BB cream, whether I need to go out for a party or for everyday wear. Recently I was supposed to attend a very important interview and needed something better, something between a foundation and a BB cream. I had read some good reviews about Lakme Face Magic Skin Tints Soufflé and so I got it for myself. Let me review it in detail for you to judge.

My Experience With Lakme Face Magic Skin Tints Soufflé Natural Marble:

Earlier this product was called Daily Wear Soufflé. It comes in a silver and beige cardboard box. Inside the box, you will find a semi-transparent jar made of glass with a silver plastic screw open lid. There is an additional silver lid covering the product. I simply don't understand why Lakme has relaunched this product in a jar again. I feel they should have improved their packaging. Since the jar is made of glass, it's risky to travel with. Since it is a liquid product, if you accidentally drop the jar, the product is going to spill out.

The jar packaging is unhygienic as well. It comes in 3 shades - Shell, Pearl and Marble. I chose Marble shade since it is meant for fair to wheatish skin tones. The texture is lightweight compared to a liquid foundation. The fragrance is like any foundation that is the cosmetic type but thankfully it fades off fast. The tint is super easy to blend. It gets absorbed well without any whitish cast. I won't suggest building it up since it may give a cakey look. It gives a nice healthy dewy glow to my face without any kind of heaviness. It is moisturizing as well. Especially, oily skin people won't need a moisturizer underneath it. It looks very natural especially for people like me who are not comfortable with foundations on a daily basis.

It also has sunscreen although the SPF is not given. If you are planning a long day out, wear a sunscreen before applying this. Coming to the coverage part, it is not so effective in concealing acne marks and dark spots. It gives a sheer coverage and hides my light dark circles pretty well. But for the acne marks, I need to use a concealer. So I would say that this is more like a tinted moisturizer.

Pros Of Lakme Face Magic Skin Tints Soufflé Natural Marble:
  • Amazing texture.
  • Blends very easily.
  • Lightweight and good for daily use.
  • Gives a dewy glow to the face.
  • Has sunscreen.
  • Moisturizes well. It will be great for oily skin people.
  • Does not feel cakey if used in a single layer.

Cons Of Lakme Face Magic Skin Tints Soufflé in Natural Marble:
  • Does not provide heavy coverage.
  • Difficult to handle and unhygienic packaging.

Diva Likes Rating:

3.5/5

Final Note:

Lakme Face Magic Skin Tints Soufflé is almost like a tinted moisturizer and is a good product for everyday use. It's easy to blend and provides a healthy glow. But if you need something with high concealing ability, go for a foundation.

  1. I used this few years back and quite liked it. Of course, that time I didn't know how to apply foundation or anything like this but this product along with a compact/powder works really well for skin. I so agree with you Divya, even I hate that tub packaging, so difficult to carry around.
