Ever since I started the tutorials for eye makeup, I mostly presented the smoky and party eye makeup. So today I decided to do a traditional eye makeup for you all. When I say traditional eye makeup, the first color that comes to my mind is golden. It is such an astonishing color that goes well with every traditional look and, in fact, no traditional look is complete without a touch of golden sheen. However, golden color isn't easy to wear alone as it attracts a lot of attention. Thus, I have used the color with a bit of brown and green to bring out the traditional oomph factor. I have kept the eye makeup slightly soft because with the traditional outfit we mostly keep our lips and cheeks bright. A bright red or pink lips pairs beautifully with this eye makeup with a flush of coral or muted pink blush. Let's see how I have created the look.

Products Used:
  • Chambor Radiant Touch Up Concealer
  • Lakme Rose Powder
  • Sleek Au Naturel
  • Lakme Eye Quartet Tanjore Rush
  • Lakme Insta Liner
  • Lakme Eyeconic Kajal Green
  • Jordana Eye Brow Pencil
  • Rimmel Mascara

Tools Used:
  • Vega Eyelash Curler
  • Zoeva 223
  • Kent Angular Eyeshadow Brush
  • Vega Eyebrow Shaper

Step By Step Procedure:

Prepare your eyes by applying aloe vera gel or any eye cream followed by a concealer to hide the blemishes or dark circles and even it out by blending it. Set it properly with an illuminating powder or any translucent powder. I have used a concealer from Chambor followed by Lakme Rose Powder.

Highlight the brow bone with a matte peach or white color. Do not make it too shimmery as we want the golden color to be in the focus. I have applied a matte white from Sleek Au Naturel.

Take a matte taupe or dark brown color and draw along the crease making a 'V' on the outer lid. Soften it slightly to merge with the brow bone color. I have applied a taupe matte from Sleek Au Naturel.

Take golden color or pigment and pat it all over the lid with fingers or brush. If you're using a pigment, use your fingers to avoid fallouts. Here I have applied a golden color from Lakme Tanjore Rush.

Take a brush and slowly blend the golden color with the taupe color using a blending brush. Apply a black liner on top and slightly wing it out. Apply a blue/brown/green kohl for the lower lash line and waterline. Applying black on both the upper and lower lash line looks bit monotonous and obvious. As the trend of colored eyeliner is quite popular, I used green color for the lower lash line. I have used Lakme Insta Liner and Lakme Eyeconic Kajal Green.

Fill your brows and apply mascara on your lashes to widen the eyes and make it look vibrant. I have filled the brows using Jordana Eye Brow Pencil with Rimmel Mascara.

Here's the final look.
