Hello, beauties! After the successful Color Show range of nail colors and Glitter Mania series, Maybelline finally launched the Go Graffiti range of nail colors and coats. My Experience With Maybelline Color Show Go Graffiti Nail Polish Flower Power:

Packaging: As they belong to the family of Color Show range, they kept the bottle similar to the previous ones. With a thick cute cylindrical bottle and black screw cap that has an applicator wand attached to it, the bottle looks pretty cute and you can easily spot the nail color with the pattern. The applicator wand, slightly different from regular nail paints is a little flattened from its base to evenly apply the nail effect. Hence, it works wonderfully.

Shade: It has a clear base with medium peach hexes, mini white hexes, and white flowers. The shade can be used both as a top coat and as an individual coat on the nails. On the swatch, I tried it under a dark blue color as both the white and peach come out lovely on top of blue color. The pattern is beyond perfect for spring and summers. On the hands, it looks quite beautiful and chic.
Texture: The clear base is slightly thicker than any regular top coat or base coat. What I fear is that maybe with time it might get slightly sticky due to the dense consistency. However, the clear base with hexes and flowers is easy to apply and spreads evenly on both bare nails as well as on any nail color.

Pigmentation: It is basically on a clear base, but the amount of hexes of various sizes and flowers are filled enough to create the chic and graffiti effects on the nails. The pattern looks great over ombre nails as well as nail arts.
Staying Power: On my nails, it never chipped, neither the hexes fell off nor the flowers. I kept it around for a week without any kind of top coat. However, on the flip side, removing it from your nails is a laborious task! It is more difficult than removing glitter nail paints. Even though the color comes off, the stubborn hexes will remain as it is. I literally had to scrape them off with my nail filer to take them off. Therefore, it is a must to apply fevicol layer if you don't want to struggle with it.

Maybelline has priced it well and affordable for all, which makes the product exceptionally famous. We hardly have any brand coming up with nail textures or graffiti within the price range of 150 bucks. Therefore, this particular one is a must try!

Pros Of Maybelline Color Show Go Graffiti Nail Polish Flower Power:
  • Nice packaging with proper applicator wand.
  • A clear base with peach and white hexes and flowers.
  • Looks great over a dark nail color, nail art, ombre nails or even when worn alone.
  • Good pigmentation.
  • Phenomenally good staying power.
  • Reasonable pricing.

Cons Of Maybelline Color Show Go Graffiti Nail Polish Flower Power:
  • Texture could have been slightly thin.
  • Removing the nail color is a tough job.

Diva Likes Rating:

4.5/5

Final Note:

The cons can be dealt with in some way or the other but missing an opportunity of letting your hands with such a pretty nail art would be shocking. It is a perfect nail graffiti for blooming summer and highly recommended to the readers.
