My Experience With Maybelline Color Show Nail Lacquer Denim Dash 503 & Keep Up The Flame 215:
Packaging: As the nail polishes belong to the same family, the packaging is identical. The cute cylindrical little bottles of the varnish are transparent which enables you to see through the color. It has an opaque sleek black screw cap that has the applicator attached to it. The name and shade are engraved on the top of the bottle. Indeed, these are one of the cutest nail varnish bottles I own and are also travel-friendly.
Denim Dash 503: The shade is cobalt blue with sky blue micro-shimmers blended with it. Since I own variety of blue shades, I must tell you that this is one of the finest colors I have come across and most excellent of its class. I actually couldn't find a close dupe for this color. One of the most amazing things is the texture, which after being dried turns into a matte coating. The color can be worn easily for workplace without being loud and also looks great in winter. The consistency is medium and evenly spreads on the nails without being clumsy. The applicator provided is equally good and forgiving when you are in a hurry. The pigmentation fares well as 2 coats are enough to give you a clean opaque finish. The varnish stayed on my nails for 3-4 days. The corners then start chipping without any base or top coat. It's not out of my biased love for blue, but this color truly stands out as a matte cobalt blue that you should definitely own with such an easy price tag.
Keep Up The Flame 215: The shade is a bright orange red with a touch of neon. The vibrant color reminds me of summer and anyone will fall for it. I was exactly looking for this kind of red for myself. The shade instantly brightens up your hand and is an excellent color for the brides as well. The consistency is thin, but it evenly spreads out on the nails with a glossy shine finish. I am happy with the applicator as it does a good job without bubbles and streaks. The only disappointing thing is the pigmentation. It takes a number of coats to get an opaque layer of the varnish. In fact, I am wearing 4 coats in the swatch but then also it has not come out totally opaque. The color stays on my nails for 3-4 days without chipping which is good. Overall, it is a decent red shade for its price. The various dupes for this shade are OPI Tasmanian Devil Made Me Do It, Zoya Maura, Revlon Red Bikini, Superstar Nail Lacquer – It Girl Orange & MAC Nail Lacquer Kid Orange.

Diva Likes Rating:
Denim Dash 503: 5/5
Keep Up The Flame 215: 4/5
For its price, both the colors are great. I wish the red was more pigmented as the color would have matched with what I actually wanted. The blue is undoubtedly a pretty one which I would surely keep as a stock.
