My Experience WithMaybelline Color Show Lipstick 310 Nutty Cookie:

The lipstick comes in a black sleek twist up stick with a black plastic cap. There is a reddish band encircled in the black sleek body of the lipstick. It is a very light weight lipstick and easily fits into your clutch without any fuss. There is nothing great to talk about the packaging as it is just normal. The shade is a typical dark brown with no hidden undertones to it. I felt that the color is slightly tricky to carry off. If you slather too much the color almost makes your lips look dark. Only proper layering can makes it look classy. Darker skin tone people would definitely not want to try this color. Apart from carrying the dark color, we can also wear the color as a stain if you feel the color would look too dark on your skin.

The texture is absolutely what the brand claims. It happily moisturizes your lips and makes it soft and supple. But make sure that you never apply the lipstick on your chapped lips because it looks devastatingly patchy and ugly. The lipstick settles on fine lines and creases a lot as time passes. I have absolutely no complains when it comes to the pigmentation. With a single swipe you can get the desire color you want. It is up to personal preference to build the color with multiple swipes. The lipstick stays on my lips for 4-5 hours with snacks in between and I absolutely hate the way it fades away. In fact, the color became extremely patchy and I had to remove it completely to re-apply it. As far as the price is concerned, I would stay it is absolutely justified.

Pros Of Maybelline Color Show Lipstick 310 Nutty Cookie:
  • Travel-friendly packaging.
  • A dark brown color which is rare to find.
  • Moisturizes the lips.
  • Insanely pigmentation
  • Stays for 4-5 hours on my lips.
  • Reasonably priced.

Cons Of Maybelline Color Show Lipstick 310 Nutty Cookie:
  • Boring packaging.
  • A very tricky shade to carry off.
  • Looks ugly if applied on chapped lips.
  • Too much layering darkens the lips.
  • After the color starts wearing off, it becomes extremely patchy.

Final Note:

Personally, I didn't like this color much because it is really difficult to carry it off. With every positive point, the lipstick also has a negative point to it. That makes it really difficult to judge it. Coming to the lipstick range, it provides an array of beautiful colors to choose from and the range perfectly matches with the fall colors that come with an affordable price tag.
