Hello ladies! I hope everyone is doing fine. Today I am going to review a face wash from Himalaya Herbals. Himalaya Herbals is a well known brand and it definitely doesn't need any introduction. I am a person who keeps changing face wash every now and then as I love experimenting. Obviously I do have my HG face wash but still I love trying out new ones. I love citrus fragrance and this face wash contains lemon in it. So I bought it immediately. I have used many products from Himalaya Herbals before and so I was expecting this one to be good. Read on to know how it fared.

Oil Control Lemon Face Wash is enriched with lemon, astringent and cooling agent, and honey which has natural, deep cleansing properties. Unlike soap, your face will not feel dry and stretched. My Experience With Himalaya Herbals Oil Control Lemon Face Wash:

I have oily skin which is prone to whiteheads and that is why I bought this oil control face wash. This face wash comes in a transparent plastic tube with a flip flop cap. The cap shuts tightly and it is travel friendly. I always carry it in my bag during travel and I haven't faced any leakage or any issue with it till now.

The consistency of the face wash is like a gel and it is white in color. It also has few blue granules in it which are hardly visible. Little quantity is required for wash and this goes for long time. I only need a pea sized amount to lather it well and it gets washed easily. I hate products which leave a slippery feel on face and I do not prefer the face washes which doesn't go even after splashing water on the face 10 times.

This face wash cleanses the face completely and also removes my mild makeup which is good. But don't expect it to remove your waterproof makeup. It also removes excess oil from my face as per the claims. My face doesn't turn oily for a long time which is commendable at this price. The fragrance it has is of citrus as it contains lemon and I personally like the scent very much. It is really refreshing and nice. Overall, I am happy with it and would definitely repurchase it.

Pros Of Himalaya Herbals Oil Control Lemon Face Wash:
  • Affordable and travel friendly packaging
  • Lathers well and pea sized amount is required
  • Nice and refreshing fragrance
  • Doesn't leave slippery feel
  • Removes mild makeup
  • Cleanses skin well
  • Removes excess oil

Cons Of Himalaya Herbals Oil Control Lemon Face Wash:
  • Some might not like the fragrance
  • Not suitable for dry skin

Final Note:

This face wash is good for combination to oil skin as it controls oil without making the skin dry. The price is affordable and there is no harm in trying.
