Chickpea Curry

Ingredients Required For Chickpea Curry:
  • S&W Garbanzo Beans - 1 container
  • Onions - 1 (finely chopped)
  • Green Chillies - 2 (finely chopped)
  • Tomatoes - 2 (finely chopped)
  • Coconut Paste - 1 cup
  • Ginger-Garlic Paste - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander leaves - 1 tablespoon
  • Turmeric powder - Half teaspoon
  • Red Chilli powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garam Masala powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Mustard Seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Oil - 2 teaspoons
  • Butter - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - As per taste

S&W Garbanzo Beans

Preparation:

Take a pan to heat and add oil to it. Add cumin and mustard seeds. Once they pop, add the onions and green chilies. Cook till the onions turn light brown in color.
Then add the ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder and tomatoes. Cover the pan and cook for 5 minutes. Then take a cup of coconut paste and add it along with salt and garam masala powder. Mix everything well and cook for another 10 minutes till the raw taste of the coconut paste goes away.
Finally, add the S&W Garbanzo Beans along with required red chili powder and cook for 5-10 minutes. Switch off the stove and add coriander powder and butter before serving it hot.
