Hello, everyone! Hope you all are enjoying the winter as I could finally feel some chill in the air and I have been waiting for it forever. I have been reaching out to all the deep shades of red, maroon, and plums this season as they look wonderful and wearable for parties and weddings. I took out my whole kitty of lipsticks and I found this Lakme Enrich Satin lip color which I bought last year for a function in college and hardly applied it ever since. The color is no doubt universally flattering with rich texture but I somehow have a love-hate relationship with this particular color. Read on to find out why.

My Experience With Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick 352:

Packaging: The packaging is old as Lakme has revamped and introduced some eye-catching silver body packaging of Satin Enrich very recently. The lipstick I am using is about a year back and has the old matte maroon packaging with twist up function. The shade number is written at the bottom. I hate the number coded packaging, as I forget numbers easily. I would prefer if they had names.
Shade: The shade is a deep cherry with neutral undertones. It is rich, intense color and suits all the skin tones. However, I have a love-hate relationship with this color. This cherry red doesn't look very good on my lips in person, but it photographs well. This never happened with me, but that's how the color behaves. Those who love deep cherry red, this is a treat for them.

Texture: The texture is the best thing which makes me go back to these lipsticks. It is a satin velvety texture with a nice hydrated sheen like a gloss i.e. neither totally matte nor super glossy. Even if your lips are slightly dry, it provides enough moisturization to last long but it is better to exfoliate and apply lipstick. It doesn't accentuate fine lines. As the color is rich, it has the tendency of bleeding. So it is better to wear a liner underneath and blot it before wear. It also transfers and leaves behind the stain. I have used quite a number of Enrich Satin Lip Colors but these cons are only for this particular color.
Pigmentation: The pigmentation is amazing as only single swipe will give you the rich and bold cherry red color. Two swipes are enough as the more layers you pile up, the bleeding of the color will create a mess.

Staying Power: The staying power is around 3-4 hours. It can survive snacks easily but after a heavy meal, you definitely need proper touch ups. It fades off leaving behind a reddish tint on the lips which looks mild and pretty.

Pros Of Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick 352:
  • Nice packaging but the new version is better.
  • A deep cherry red with neutral tones.
  • Will suit an array of skin tones.
  • Satin velvety texture.
  • Hydrating for lips.
  • Amazing pigmentation and a single swipe gives a fair amount of color to the lips.
  • Staying power is around 3-4 hours.
  • Reasonable pricing.

Cons Of Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick 352:
  • It has the tendency of bleeding.
  • Transfers and leaves behind the stain.
  • Staying power could have been better.

Diva Likes Rating:

3.5/5

Final Note:

The color is a rich and intense cherry red, a common shade often liked by various Indian beauties and it also suits many skin tones. It has fairly good qualities. So if you want a budget friendly red for any occasion then you may try this out.

    1. Yeah it transfers a lot but can be controlled wiyh lipliner n blotting tissue - then again its time consuming

  2. Not a fan of lipsticks that bleed. But the shade is nice.
