Wedding season is here and I thought this is the best time for this tutorial. All the brides want to look their best on this special day. Bridal makeup isn't easy as it seems. Every feature needs to be carefully highlighted without looking like a clown. One of the major rules of makeup is that when you go dramatic with the eye makeup, you keep the lips soft, subtle and vice versa. Whereas, for bridal makeup you have to carefully highlight both without being loud. All brides, at least, the Indian brides, sport either pinks or reds for the lip makeup. Therefore, I have chosen the color bronze to safely play with other dark colors and shimmers. Without any delay, let's go straight to the eye makeup look.

Step By Step Procedure:

I have started by lining and filling by brows with Natio Eyebrow Kit. For bridal makeup, it is very important to have properly arched and filled brows to enhance the eye makeup. Next, I have concealed the dark circles and puffiness with Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer. I have set everything with Lakme Rose Powder to create the base for eye makeup.

To make sure that the eyeshadows I am going to use stick properly to the eyelids and prevent creasing, I have applied an eye primer in Taupe with micro shimmer from the Sleek Primer Palette. I have only applied it on the eyelids.

In a flat fluffy brush, I have mixed a light brown and MAC Sketch with slight plum and applied on the crease as a transition color. Blend the harsh edges thoroughly to create a diffused look.

Next I have taken a bronze eyeshadow in a damp eyeshadow brush and patted the color all over the lid. Then, with a clean dry brush merge the previous color with this one. While blending you might feel the need of layering both the colors to build the intensity.

Take a black/dark brown eyeshadow in a brush and apply it on the outer V extending slightly outwards as a faded wing. Make sure you don't overdo the color as it might darken the eyelid color.

Take the shimmery highlighter and apply on the brow bone and inner corner. This gives an instant lift to the eyes and make them look fresh, open and big. I have used a golden champagne color for this purpose.

First, tight line your upper and lower lids with kajal. Then use a pencil brush and mix a bronze-black eyeshadow and smudge it on the lower lids to create a smoky base. Then, with the help of a gel liner draw a semi-thick eyeliner along the arch and wing it out slightly for a deeper bridal look. I have slightly smoked out the wing with the eyelid to merge the look.

Lastly, curl your lashes and apply mascara. You can also apply falsies if you are comfortable with it.

And here's the final look.
