Most of us are aware of the benefits of the magical plant aloe vera. It's a great plant for both your inner health and outer beauty. One more ingredient that's equally good for the body both externally and internally is the cucumber. Cucumber is mainly popular for its capability to combat dark circles. And when you pack both of them in a tube, you get Iba Halal Aloe Aqua Face and Body Gel. Today I will be reviewing one more product from the Iba Halal brand which I got in my Diva Likes haul and the product is Iba Halal Aloe Aqua Face and Body Gel. I am a person who generally prefers herbal products over chemically treated expensive products. I don't abstain from trying them out because they don't do any harm even if they don't provide benefits. So I consider it a safe bet. I got 3 products from Iba Halal brand and they have performed ordinarily. Let's see if this one works or not.

My Experience With Iba Halal Aloe Aqua Face And Body Gel:

Iba Halal Aloe Aqua Face and Body Gel come in a light green squeezable plastic tube with a translucent white flip open cap. The tube is semi-transparent and that allows us to see how much product is left in the tube. The cap is tight enough to prevent spillage. So overall the packaging looks nice and travel-friendly. The gel is light greenish in color with a light consistency and texture. It has a very mild herbal fragrance which fades away quickly after massaging and thus not at all a problem for people with a sensitive nose. The gel spreads very easily and gets absorbed in no time without any greasy and oily feeling. It gives a very soothing and cooling feeling the moment you apply it. I keep it in the refrigerator and it doubles up the cool feeling.

It instantly hydrates my skin as per its claims. After a day out in the sun, this definitely soothes the sun burnt skin. It moisturizes well and is adequate for summer. On my body, it gets absorbed quickly without any kind of greasiness but on my face it sits on like a layer no matter how much I massage it. This makes it little sticky and the skin also feels tight. I am assuming my oily skin to be the reason for it. It doesn't work on my acne and blemishes at all. It didn't help in drying out my pimples and removing acne marks either. So I consider Iba Halal Aloe Aqua Face and Body Gel as an average product good enough for providing a soothing feeling and hydration.

Pros Of Iba Halal Aloe Aqua Face And Body Gel:
  • Travel-friendly and sturdy packaging.
  • Light texture of the gel makes it easy to blend and apply.
  • Provides hydration to the skin instantly.
  • Gives a cooling sensation which feels soothing after a day out in the sun.
  • Pocket friendly.

Cons Of Iba Halal Aloe Aqua Face And Body Gel:
  • Does not work on acne.
  • Does nothing for the blemishes.
  • Makes my facial skin sticky and tight.

Diva Likes Rating:

2/5

Final Note:

I would recommend everyone to skip this product. It just provides instant hydration and a soothing feeling. Apart from that it does nothing for acne and pimples. There are many other good aloe vera gels available in the market compared to this.
