Hello, everyone! Hope you all are doing well. During my acne prone days, I was not being able to use any cosmetic products that included my regular cleanser, toner and moisturizer. After the whole day's ordeal if I don't clean my face, I was afraid that the acne problems are going to increase. There were only a few things for which my skin was not reacting in a bad way and that includes gram flour and milk. Therefore, I started mixing both of them and used it as cleansing milk. To my surprise, it turned out to be a great natural cleanser for makeup removal. I further added few more ingredients and started using it as a daily cleansing product. This DIY can also be a great option if you forget to bring your cleansing milk. So far, this has been the easiest thing to make and very useful. So let's see how you can make cleansing milk at home.

Ingredients Used & Their Benefits:

  • Milk Powder: Milk is a wonder product for the skin as it provides glow, removes impurities and traces of makeup easily. It contains fat, lactic acid content and alpha hydroxyl acid has the ability to penetrate the skin further making it soft and supple.

  • Rice Powder: It has natural anti-aging and oil-absorbing properties, soothes sunburned skin, makes skin smooth and fairer naturally. It is a natural exfoliator and has natural bleaching abilities. It gives the skin a brightening effect.

  • Gram Flour: It is the best ingredient for oily and acne prone skin. It has numerous benefits of removing tan, skin lightening, cleansing and works great as an exfoliating agent.

Procedure:

In a small bowl, take a half tablespoon of rice powder. If you have dry skin you increase it to one tablespoon.

Add one tablespoon of milk powder to it. You can increase the milk powder while removing heavy makeup but for regular days one tablespoon is sufficient.

Add one tablespoon of gram flour to the mixture.

Mix the ingredients thoroughly so that they don't form lumps while mixing.

Slowly add water with the help of a tablespoon and bring it to a medium consistency. The final product is here!

You can either apply it to your face slowly and massage it for 4-5 minutes or you can soak in a cotton ball and slowly wipe on the skin.
