As I mentioned in my earlier post, there has never been a day that I stepped out of my home without kajal. It is a primary part of my daily makeup regime and I feel complete when I have kajal on my eyes. By now you must have guessed how important it is for me. I always prefer kajal which stays all day long. Me and my friends have tried all the available eye makeup products in the market and now we know which kajal works best and which doesn't. Revlon Colorstay One-Stroke Defining Eyeliner was suggested to me by my friend who was totally in love with the product. She told me that I have to try this eyeliner as it lasts long and makes the eyes look beautiful. Hence I picked up blackest black shade and I loved it so much that here I am with its review. Hope it helps all of you.

About Revlon Colorstay One-Stroke Defining Eyeliner (Blackest Black):

• The soft core is easily applied around the lash line, even to the inner rim of the eye.

My Experience With Revlon Colorstay One-Stroke Defining Eyeliner (Blackest Black):

This eyeliner comes in the form of a pencil which needs to be sharpened to expose the product. I sometimes feel using these pencils is inconvenient. The twist up is definitely a lot easier to use. The product on its own is so rich and creamy that you can't even feel it on your eyes. But every advantage comes with a disadvantage. It is so creamy that once you are done with two to three swipes, it requires sharpening. It has been just a week since I started using the product and the pencil became half of its actual size. During sharpening there is excess wastage of the product which is again because of its silky smooth formula. Coming to the pigmentation, it is the blackest of the blacks you would have seen, almost as black as coal. And all this comes in just one stroke. It is water proof and smudge proof. It lasts for almost 8 hours on the lids and 6-7 hours on the water line without re-application. Towards the end of 6 hours, you can see that it starts fading and settles at the corners of the eyes. I love this product but I really wish if they can bring in the same formulation in a twister pen so that we can avoid the wastage. It is definitely one of the best eyeliner available in the market which helps to define a great look for your eyes.

Pros Of Revlon Colorstay One-Stroke Defining Eyeliner (Blackest Black):
  • Water proof and smudge proof
  • Smooth and silky formula
  • Gives the darkest pigmentation ever
  • Lasts for almost 8 hours
  • Does not sting

Cons Of Revlon Colorstay One-Stroke Defining Eyeliner (Blackest Black):
  • Creamy texture and sharpening results in wastage
  • Slightly over priced considering the quantity

Diva Likes Rating:

4.5/5

Final Note:

If not for the wastage, I would call this the best eyeliner pencil available in the Indian market. Unfortunately it makes my heart ache to see all the money being sharpened away. In spite of that, I would still say this product is definitely worth a try.
