- Spinach – 1 cup(chopped)
- Onion – 1(chopped)
- Garlic – 4
- Butter – Half teaspoon
- Garam masala – Half teaspoon
- Salt - As per taste
- Tomatoes – 1 tablespoon(chopped)
- Cumin – One-Fourth teaspoon
- Cornflour – 1 teaspoon
Heat a pan and melt the butter. Add the cumin seeds and let it splutter. Add the chopped garlic and saute. Now add the chopped onions and saute till it becomes translucent. Add the spinach and saute for five minutes.
Add three cups of water and mix well. Add the required salt and cook for 10 minutes.
Now add the garam masala and chopped tomatoes and simmer for two minutes.
Mix cornflour in quarter cup of water and add it to the boiling soup. Stir continuously for five minutes.
Soup is ready to be served.
Serve the Spinach Soup with a bread stick.
