- Methi Leaves - 3 bunches
- Tomatoes - 1(medium, chopped)
- Onions - 1(finely chopped)
- Green chillies - 4(finely chopped)
- Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Curry leaves - 6
- Cashewnuts - 50 grams
- Basmati rice - 1 cup
- Water - 2 cups
- Salt - As per taste
Take a pressure cooker to heat and add oil to it. Add onions, green chillies, curry leaves and cashewnuts and fry for 5 mins.
Add tomatoes and cook for another 10 mins.
Add methi leaves and cook for another 5 mins.
Add rice along with water and salt and cook for 5 mins.
Pressure cook for 3 whistles and remove from heat and serve hot.
Serve the methi pulao with raita and enjoy its taste.
