So here is the Traditional Black Beans & Rice recipe which I prepared using Bush's Black Beans.

Traditional Black Beans & Rice

Ingredients Required:
  • Onions - 1 (finely chopped)
  • Green Chilies - 4 (slit into two halves)
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
  • Cooked Rice - 2 cups
  • Tomatoes - 1 (small, finely chopped)
  • Bush's Black Beans - 1 can
  • Oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Coriander leaves - 1 tablespoon
  • Mint leaves - 1 tablespoon

Preparation:

Take a pan and add oil to it. Once the oil gets heated, add the chopped onions, green chilies and cook till the onions turn golden brown in color.
Then add ginger garlic paste, tomatoes, coriander leaves, mint leaves and cook for another 10 minutes. Add Bush's Black Beans and cook for 5 mins.

Now add cooked rice and let it be on heat for 5 minutes.
Remove it from the stove and serve hot.
