Hair thinning problem is a nightmare for most women. Most women lose 50-100 hairs a day which is considered normal hair loss but a consistent loss of 150 hairs a day is considered significant hair loss. Almost 1 in 3 women have this problem in her lifetime and it can start as early as her twenties. For all the women who have a general thinning of hair on the top of the scalp or hereditary hair loss, Women's ROGAINE® Foam is the first and only FDA-approved once-daily treatment with 5% minoxidil proven to regrow hair. It works beneath the surface to reactivate follicles to help regrow hair in a once a day foam. This innovation is a welcome solution to women looking for a proven solution to treat the condition rather than a cosmetic, quick fix.

Women's ROGAINE® 5% Minoxidil Topical Aerosol contains 5% minoxidil, the only topical ingredient FDA-approved to help regrow hair. Unlike cosmetic thickeners which just coat hair and temporarily mask the issue, Women's ROGAINE® 5% Minoxidil Topical Aerosol helps prevent further thinning by regrowing thicker hair. With 25 years of results and numerous clinical trials, the ROGAINE® brand is the #1 dermatologist-recommended brand for hair regrowth and is priced at $29.99 for a 2-month supply and $49.99 for a 4-month supply.

Women's ROGAINE® Foam is easy to apply and can be used in the morning or evening on chemically processed or color treated hair and with any of the styling products. Apply half a capful once daily directly to the scalp in the hair loss area. Massage into scalp with fingers, then wash hands well. Elegant foam formula features an enhanced biodelivery system designed to break down with body heat to deposit actives on the scalp without residue. It penetrates into the scalp with gentle massaging to reactivate hair follicles and stimulate hair regrowth. Using more and more often will not improve results. Continued use is necessary to increase and keep your hair regrowth or hair loss will begin again.

Before we wind up this post, here is the interview Diva Likes got to conduct with celebrity hairstylist Jill Crosby.

INTERVIEW WITH CELEBRITY HAIR STYLIST JILL CROSBY

Q. What are the quick ways by which we can create volume if we have thin hair?

A. Using voluminizing hair products is a great start. Mousses, root lifter and my favorite dry shampoo all work wonders in giving hair an instant lift.

Q. Is it okay to use a hair dryer on a regular basis? Does using it often lead to hair fall?

A. If you use a blow dryer on a regular basis, then make sure of a couple of things to reduce damage
- Keep the heat down to medium or lower, thinning hair can't withstand the same amount of heat as normal hair.
- Use less tension than normal. Try drying your hair 70% of the way dry by just using your hands, then finish with a brush for direction.

Q. If we opt to go for permanent hair straightening, does it lead to any side effects such as hair thinning or hair loss?

A. Straightening can be more about damaging already compromised hair. But, if you are someone who needs this look (we all have our thing :) ) then work with a trained professional so as to minimize damage.

Q. For a person who is facing the problem of hair fall, can you share the tips if you plan to go for hair coloring or hair highlights?

A. Always work with a trained colorist with whom you trust to take extra care of your personal needs.

Q. How do we deal with split ends? Does getting a hair cut every 3 months solve the problem?

A. Split ends are most often the product of hair that has been damaged. So yes, cutting it away helps to keep the split from traveling up the hair strand is good, but also look at why it is splitting in the first place and see if you can make changes to keep hair healthy in the first place.

Q. How different is hereditary hair loss from hair loss due to other factors?

A. Very different, it is a genetic attribute whereas the others may be environmental or medical or lifestyle.

Q. How does Women's ROGAINE® help in getting thicker and fuller hair?

A. It goes to the root of the problem literally. It works on regenerating the follicle to produce a new healthier hair strand as soon as 12 weeks time.

All of these styling tips and tricks are great, but the only long term solution is Women's ROGAINE® Foam so together you will achieve optimal results. Hope you all found this Q&A with Jill Crosby helpful.
