Hello, cupcakes! Hope you all are doing well. With Eyeconic, Colossal, Colorkick and Magique, every brand has come out with their own version of retractable daily wear kajal. Kohl is a must have product for every Indian girl and without it every look is incomplete. I have previously tried various products from Faces, but nothing fancied me as I felt the quality is nothing to brag about. Very recently they launched the Magenteyes Kajal which seemed quite promising. Being addicted to kajal, I was so overwhelmed to find it in my Diva Likes haul. Let us see how the product fared with me.

About Faces Magneteyes Kajal:

Super soft and easy gliding, FACES Magneteyes Kajal provides the much-needed nourishment to your eyes as it is loaded with antioxidants and minerals and is paraben-free. The intense black color gives excellent coverage to your eyes. Whether you want the stunning Egyptian, feline, pin-up, luxe, or a dramatic eyeliner look, this alluring Kohl that doubles up as an eyeliner can create it all with ease.
Being dermatologically tested and enriched with mineral rich formula with special ingredients like Vitamin E and Vitamin C derivative, FACES Magneteyes Kajal is completely safe to use too! Besides it is a retractable pencil and comes at an attractive price of Rs.175.

My Experience With Faces Magneteyes Kajal:

Packaging: The kajal comes in a vibrant true red packaging. The system is retractable and hence you won't have to waste the product in sharpening. The cap shuts nicely and it is very easy to travel with as well. Overall, the packaging is lovely and adorable.
Shade & Pigmentation: The shade is the blackest black and pure love. If you fancy jet black color, you are going to love it. It shows up equally well on water lids and eyelids which I love. The pigmentation is, undoubtedly, admirable for a decent kajal.

Texture: The texture is smooth and creamy. It glides on the water lids and eyelids like a dream without any kind of tugging or pulling. The kajal gives you enough time to smudge it if you desire a smoky look and when it sets down it doesn't budge at all. The kajal settles down with a matte finish yet looks naturally good and not flaky or dry.
Finish & Staying Power: The kajal is waterproof and smudge proof for a certain time. I have washed my face several times and it didn't seep down at all. The staying power is around 6-7 hours without smudging. After that, the kajal smudges slightly but nothing that would give you scary dreadful and raccoon eyes.

Pros Of Faces Magneteyes Kajal:
  • Vibrant red packaging.
  • Retractable so you won't have to waste product in sharpening.
  • Shade is blackest black with no shimmers.
  • Admirable pigmentation on both water lids and eyelids.
  • The texture is smooth and creamy.
  • It gives you enough time to smudge for a smoky look.
  • It sets down with a matte finish.
  • Waterproof and smudge proof.
  • Stays on the eyes for around 6-7 hours.
  • Dermatologically tested.

Cons Of Faces Magneteyes Kajal:
  • It does smudges after 6-7 hours but nothing ghastly.

Diva Likes Rating:

5/5

Final Note:

The con I mentioned is extremely nominal as the kajal excels in every feature as a decent daily wear kajal. The kajal is definitely a great option to try for.

    1. Hi Rifath,
I would say both are identical in pigmentation. Magneteyes is creamier and easy to smudge to create smokey look while Color kick sets quickly and staying power is slightly longer on waterline.
