There are some various combinations which taste really good when mixed together and cooked. One such combo is the cauliflower and peas which is cooked with rich addition of cashews. It is a perfect recipe to have along with biryani also. You are going to love it.


Ingredients:

Cauliflower - 1(Cut into small flowers)
Peas - 1 cup
Tomatoes - 1(Finely chopped)
Onions - 1 cup(Finely chopped)
Cashewnuts - 1 cup
Green Chillies - 5(Finely chopped)
Curry Leaves - 4
Ginger-garlic Paste - 1 tablespoon
Coriander Powder - 1 tablespoon
Turmeric Powder - 1 tablespoon
Water - If required
Oil - 2 tablespoons

Preparation:

Boil the cauliflower pieces and peas for 15 mins in water. Remove the water and keep the boiled cauliflower and peas aside.
Add tomatoes, cashews, green chillies, ginger-garlic paste, half cup of onions and corainder powder in a blender and make a smooth paste. You can add little bit of water to get the paste of required consistency.


Take a pan to heat and add oil to it. Add half cup of chopped onions and fry.


Once the onions turn light brown in color add turmeric powder and curry leaves.


Add the cashew paste to this and mix well and cook for 10 mins.


Add the boiled cauliflower and peas and cook for another 15 mins so that the vegetables get a flavour of the paste.


Remove from heat and serve it hot.


Serving Options:

Serve it along with puri/roti/naan. Also it tastes really good with vegetable biryani also.
