Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip Cream 01 Review
My lipstick stash is full of matte lip colors and I cannot remember the last time I bought a creamy glossy. Be it summer, spring or winter –...
About Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip Cream 01:
It's not lipstick, nor is it gloss. It's like nothing you've experienced before. It's lipstick cream that goes on silky but looks soft matte.

My Experience With Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip Cream 01:
Packaging: Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip Cream comes in a lightweight yet sturdy and plastic cylindrical tube with a black screw cap that has the applicator attached. The body is so lightweight and easy to travel that I always make it a point to carry it with me instead of lipsticks. The packaging is color-coded and easier to identify when you are in a hurry. Overall, I love their packaging for lip creams.
Applicator: The doe-foot applicator is very convenient for application. It picks up the right amount of product without much wastage. The tip is slightly tough and you can also use it wisely as a lip liner when you are in a hurry. The applicator evenly spreads the cream on the lips but make it a point not to rub the lips together until the color settles down.
Shade: The shade 01 is an orange-based red that instantly gives a radiant effect on the skin. The color would suit a large number of complexions and would look best on olive toned skin. It doesn't have any kind of shimmer or pearly finish and that makes the color stand out perfectly.
Texture: The texture of the product is that of whipped cream upon application. It is very light and you won't feel anything on the lips. After 10-15 minutes, the color settles down to a comfortable matte finish. The matte finish isn't very uncomfortable and therefore even dry lips can wear it as well. Sometimes it settles down to fine lines if you do not exfoliate the lips properly.
Pigmentation: I adore the pigmentation. Even with 2 swipes, it gives you the complete coverage to hide all the discolorations and pigmentation of the lips. If you wear a lip liner underneath the color, all you require is a single swipe to bring out the color. The color doesn't bleed at all when overused accidentally.
Staying Power: The color when worn alone stays on my lips for around 4-5 hours easily with snacks and drinks in between. If you consume heavy meals, it fades slightly from the center of the lips but nothing that a touch-up can't fix. When worn with a lip liner, it stays for almost the whole day.
