My Experience With Maybelline Color Show Go Graffiti Nail Polish Lucky Lavender 805:

Packaging: The nail lacquer comes in a petite thick glass bottle with a black screw cap and the name inscribed on top of it. The applicator brush is attached with the cap and very easy to control. The cylindrical bottle is very cute and tempting and can fit in anywhere.
Shade: The shade is a true soft pastel lavender base with medium sized orange hexes and white small and microdots. The shade is very subtle, summery and playful. When paired with floral dresses, it looks perfect. The color, though pastel, doesn't make the hands look dark and suits every skin tone.

Texture: The finish of the polish is semi-glossy. The consistency is very thick, most probably because of the presence of hexes and dots. Sometimes, the thickness hinders the application and appears very sticky especially when you are applying the color on long nails. I wish the consistency was a bit thin.
Applicator Brush: The brush is nice with long and soft bristles. Due to the thick texture, it becomes a bit difficult to apply without streaks but you can avoid that with careful movements.

Pigmentation: The pigmentation is above average. On my nails, it requires three coats to make the shade completely opaque but the hexes are good enough for 1-2 coats. Pigmentation can be built up with a lavender base to avoid multiple coats.
Staying Power: The staying power is amazingly good and stays for a week or so. I got bored of the nail color after 6 days as it didn't chip at all and then I removed it. Removing the color is a time-consuming job. Even though the color is removed easily, the hexes are so stubborn that it spreads all over the hands.

Pros Of Maybelline Color Show Go Graffiti Nail Polish Lucky Lavender 805:
  • Cute petite packaging.
  • A soft pastel lavender base with orange hexes and white dots.
  • The color would suit any skin tone without appearing dark.
  • Perfect for spring and summer.
  • Very good staying power.
  • Good applicator brush for application.
  • Reasonable price tag.

Cons Of Maybelline Color Show Go Graffiti Nail Polish Lucky Lavender 805:
  • The thick consistency makes it difficult to apply.
  • The pigmentation could have been better.

Diva Likes Rating:

4/5

Final Note:

Maybelline has always delivered the best of the best and, therefore, slightest of cons make us heartbroken. The collection is definitely a stunning one and so is the pretty lavender. Pick up this pretty little one if you're a fan of summery pastels.
