Lip balm is something I need all round the year. Especially in winter, it is the essential one in my handbag. Over the years, I have gushed about Nivea and Maybelline Baby Lips as they did a fantastic job in keeping my lips softer and supple like no other. I received the Jovees Tea Rose Lip Care in my recent haul and have been head over heels for it. I never expected it to be so good that it became one of my favorites now. Read on to know how amazing the product is for dry and chapped lips.

Ingredients List:
Tea Rose oil, Shea butter, Wheat germ oil, Carrot oil, and Aloe Vera oil extract.

Apply a few strokes to your lips when you feel your lips are dry and need extra nourishment.
My Experience With Jovees Tea Rose Lip Care:
The lip balm comes in a simple cardboard wrapping which has the essential information written on it. The lip balm is in the twist up form with a subtle green-reddish body and a dirty gold colored plastic cap. I love the colorful packaging and it is so sturdy. It is even lightweight and you can carry it even in your pocket. The twist up form works properly without any fuss or mess and overall it is a great travel-friendly product.
The lip balm has a strong smell like that of the medicinal version of tea rose oil. Some may find it slightly bothering but I loved it a lot. It is a bit intense but not at all nauseating. The lip balm stick is pink is color but thankfully, the lip balm is non-tinted. I prefer non-tinted because I often use them underneath lipstick and I don't want the tint to collide with the color of my lipstick. The finish is very pretty unlike a dozen of lip balms I have used. It gives a semi-glossy look to the lips as if I have applied light clear gloss. It also hides the dry patches once I apply it and is a total life saver for me in that way. The texture of the lip balm is lightweight and most comfortable. It glides on the lips just like butter and no matter how many layers I apply, it is still even and smooth.
It has the goodness of tea rose oil, shea butter, wheat germ oil, carrot oil and aloe vera which does magic with my dry and lifeless lips. It feels soothing to apply on chapped lips and performs excessively well underneath the lipstick. In winter, my lips are at its worst and I need to apply a lip balm literally every hour. On the other hand, this one keeps the lips soft and supple for a long time and I don't feel the need to reapply every hour. Sometimes, I even apply the lip balm as thickly as possible and let it sit on the lips for half an hour. Then I scrub the lips well with exfoliating ingredients and my lips never felt smoother.
The staying power is very good and lasts about 2-3 hours even in winter. Even after fading, it keeps the lips soft and nourished for a prolonged time. It has SPF 15 and hence it will protect the lips from the sun rays too. The pricing of this lip balm is also reasonable.
