Apply your lip color by starting in the centre of your upper lip. Work from the centre to the outer edges of your lip, following the contours of your mouth. Glide across the entire bottom lip.

My Experience With Maybelline Pink Alert By Color Sensational Lipstick POW2:

Maybelline Pink Alert lip color range come in a very pretty pink translucent casing. The hot pink lipstick bullet is enclosed inside a shiny silver cylindrical tube. For an easy identification of the various hues of pink, one can easily refer to the color coded sticker below the tube. The cap closes pretty firmly; hence it can be easily carried around in your handbag. Overall the packing is cute and girly. I found a very slight odour of chemical. But other than that it has no fragrance at all.

This was my first ever lipstick in pink shade and I did enjoy wearing this cute pink tone. When I first applied Maybelline Pink Alert Lip Color POW2, it did seem a little strange on me as pink has never been my preferred color. Being more on the gothic side, I was always into dark shades like rich plum. But this hot pink lipstick is perfect for those who love pink shades.

The creamy texture of the lipstick moisturizes the lips instantly and gives them a fuller look. To get an opaque coverage, 2-3 swipes are enough. Maybelline Pink Alert POW2 shade has a slight glossy finish. Since I was attending an orientation programme that day, I blotted the bright pink shade down to matte. This subdued tone of pink suited me better. However after sometime my lips turned gluey and I couldn't rub them as they got stuck to each other. This happened may be due to the blotting process. It has a pretty impressive staying power of up to 4-5 hours. It leaves touch of pinkish hue on the lips even after fading away. Altogether, this is an impressive pink shade from Maybelline and I would surely recommend it to one and all.
