Lakme Maximum Moisturiser Winter Intense Review
My tryst with Lakme skincare started with their range of sunscreens which used to be available in orange packaging. I hated them to the core...

My Experience With Lakme Maximum Moisturiser Winter Intense:
It comes in a pearly white bottle with a nice flip open cap, further enclosed in a cardboard packaging. The bottle is sleek, extremely light weight and totally fuss free. It is an ideal one for traveling. The moisturizer has the consistency of a semi-thick lotion and totally white in color. The fragrance is creamy, refreshing and makes me love the product more. It gives an aromatic touch to the skin and just the kind of whiff I prefer in moisturizers. The texture of the product is as soft as a whipped cream and it is so easy to spread onto the skin. In the initial 10 minutes, it looks slightly greasy and after that it simply merges, giving a perfectly smooth and hydrated layer to the skin.
This is especially for winter and the hydration level is a bit better than regular moisturizer. All you need to do is simply massage the lotion into the skin and let it absorb it completely. Once absorbed, it makes the skin super smooth and softer than any lotion I have used. I generally use a foaming face wash from Garnier which cleanses the skin thoroughly and, therefore, I require a good moisturizer afterwards. Even on my oily skin, the moisturizer keeps the skin nourished without the greasy look. I was surprised to see the skin after 4-5 hours as my t-zone wasn't even a tad bit oily! It also adds a refreshing touch to the skin instead of making it dull and oily.
The moisturizer also performs well underneath foundation. It prepares the skin, making it well conditioned and it is easier to apply the foundation or BB cream. It gives a dewy glow in the daytime which is very good. The hydration factor completely stands out and it kept my skin soft for around 6 hours although I believe for dry skin the staying power will be slightly less. The only thing I miss in the moisturizer is the SPF but I am okay with that because sometimes moisturizer with SPF look whitish. Price wise it is also apt and a great product for budget-friendly skincare.
