Tutorial: How To Apply Eyeliner Like A Pro
Hello, everyone! Hope you all are doing well. It has been quite some time that I did any tutorial. So I decided to do a basic eyeliner tutor...
- Lakme Absolute Face Stylist Concealer
- Maybelline The Colossal Liner in Black
- Faces Canada Magneteyes Kajal
- Maybelline Falsies Mascara
While drawing the lines, keep your elbow on a fixed surface and place your pinky finger on top of the cheekbone just below the eye area. This will ensure that your hands won't shake while drawing the lines and also gives you the perfect strokes.
Step By Step Procedure:
Apply a primer and color corrector if you have dark circles, followed by the concealer and set everything with a loose translucent powder. I have used Lakme Absolute Face Stylist Concealer here.
Apply kajal on both the upper and lower waterline. This step is important because we generally apply eyeliner on the lash line and the bare waterline looks imperfect. To get an even and professional look, apply a thick layer of kajal.
This is the perfect eyeliner hack every professional follows. Use a business card or scotch tape along the lower lash directed towards the end of the eyebrow. This method is used to get the perfect line for wing or cat liner.
Draw a small line in the corner directed towards the end of the brow. The line should depend upon the kind of wing you want. If you want a dramatic look, you can stretch the line or else make a small one for a regular eyeliner look.
Make a mark on the two-third portion of the eyelid. If you wish to draw a thick line, make the dot on the middle of the eyelid.
Now, connect the end of the wing to the base of the lash line where we have created that mark. This should look like an approximate 120-degree obtuse triangle.
Next, draw a line along your eye shape to the inner corner or tear duct area. Simply follow the arch for a natural look. Make the necessary adjustments for the thickness you desire.
After all the outlining is done, simply fill with the liner and set with a matte black eyeshadow to dry quickly when you are in a hurry. This also makes the eyeliner last throughout the day.
Finish off the look by filling the brow with a shade of gray/brown, highlighting the brow bone with a shimmery beige and apply 2-3 coats of mascara to add length and volume to the eyelashes.
That's all! You can now apply eyeliner like a pro in no time. Try it yourself!
