1. The Golden Gate Bridge
It is almost nine thousand feet long bride which connects the San Francisco Bay to the Pacific Ocean. Golden Gate Bridge is a gifted example of engineering set in a stunning backdrop and the international orange color of this bridge makes it even more attractive. The bridge is so huge that it can be spotted from many areas in San Francisco.
2. Lombard Street
This is one of the most visited places in San Francisco, given the fact that it is a crooked and curvy street with tight hairpin turns. The street is very steep and a walk up & down the steps is going to be a great workout. As you take a walk down the street, the sweet smelling flowers will mesmerize your senses. You get to experience some wonderful views of the city from the top of the street. This stopover is surely not the one to be missed!
3. Fisherman's Warf
If you are looking for lodging, eating, entertainment or a cruise trip, you have it all in one place – Fisherman's Warf. This place hosts some of the best events of San Francisco which include the fireworks on 4th of July and on New Year as well. After visiting all these places, I can surely say that this city is one of the most beautiful cities in United States. In addition to the above 10 places, there are many other attractions in San Francisco which makes it a must visit place in California. The scenic locations makes this place a favorite of movie makers and hence many movies and television series have been shot here.
The city, the culture, the ambience, the food, the people – everything about San Francisco is magical. I love SFO and I am sure everyone will love it right from the moment you land here!
