At times, we tend to ignore the making of few simple things. For example, for a long time after i started cooking was when I realised I don't know how to set curd at home. It is quite simple but I didn't pay much attention to it then. Home-made curd is the best when compared to eating packed yogurt/curd. Hence, sharing this very simple preparation of home-made curd.

Ingredients:
  • Milk - 2 cups
  • Curd - Half spoon

Preparation:

Take the milk in a bowl and boil it till it reaches boiling over point.

Remove it from heat and allow it to semi-cool. Add half spoon of curd to this warm milk.

Mix it well and set it aside to set for about 5 to 6 hours or over-night.

The yogurt/curd is now ready.

Serving Options:

Yogurt/Curd is used in curd rice; it is used in certain dishes for marination purpose; it can be used to make summer drinks like lassi/buttermilk and many other purposes.
