If you are a non-vegetarian, I am sure you keep waiting for a chance to have non-veg in your day-to-day menu. I surely do. And today is one such day when I fulfilled it by preparing a non-veg dish in my kitchen. I prepared mutton curry and it was really good. Do try this out if you like it. I hope you do.

Ingredients:

Mutton - 1/2 Kg
Tomatoes - 2(Finely chopped)
Onions - 1(Finely chopped)
Green Chillies - 3(Cut into two halves vertically)
Turmeric Powder - 1 tablespoon
Salt - As per taste
Red Chilli Powder - 3 tablespoons/ As per taste
Coriander Powder - 1 tablespoon
Garam Masala Powder - 1 tablespoon
Ginger-garlic Paste - 1 tablespoon
Coriander Leaves - 1 bunch
Mint Leaves - Half bunch
Oil - 3 tablespoon

Preparation:

Take a bowl and add mutton, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and ginger-garlic paste.
Allow this to marinate for 1 hour.
Take a pressure cooker to heat and add oil to it. Add onions and green chillies and fry till onions turn light brown in colour.
Add the mutton to this and mix well. Cook for 3 whistles.
Once done, remove the lid and add tomatoes. Cook for another 15-20 mins till the tomatoes and mutton get mixed and turn into a thick gravy.
Add coriander and mint leaves and mix.
Remove from heat. Garnish as per your wish and serve hot.

Serving Options:

Serve with roti/naan/rice and enjoy the delicious mutton curry.
